Test for Academic Studies (TestAS)

The Test for Academic Studies (TestAS) is an aptitude test for international applicants planning to study in Germany. It measures general and subject-specific aptitude for undergraduate degree programmes and is used by German universities in admission and selection procedures. The test is available in digital and paper-based formats and can be taken in German or English.

Can improve prospects of admission; helps comparability of foreign qualifications; available in German and English (A2-B2).

International applicants who wish to apply for admission to an undergraduate (bachelor) degree programme at a German university; test available in German and English (language level A2-B2 CEFR).
