Konkurs Grada Welsa za dodjelu književne stipendije „Gradski pisac Welsa 2026.“

The City of Wels announces a fully funded three-month writer-in-residence stipend for writers of all ages. The stipend provides accommodation in Wels and a monthly allowance of 1,300 euros. The competition aims to support writers who show contemporary relevance, artistic independence, and a focus on children and youth, including activities such as writing workshops for children and collaboration with high school students on literary projects.

Open to writers of all ages; candidates should have at least one independent literary publication or five publications in journals or anthologies; willingness to engage with readings, school visits, and youth-oriented literary projects.
