The Sakharov Fellowship provides an intensive two-week program for human rights defenders from non-EU countries, offering exposure to European Union mechanisms, advocacy and communications training, safety and resilience practices, and meetings with high-level EU representatives. It invites up to 14 participants to join the fellowship and become part of the Sakharov Defender community.

Up to 14 human rights defenders from non-EU countries are invited to apply for the two-week intensive program.
