Cassels Black-Owned Small Business Grant for Canadian Businesses 2025

This is a grant program for Black-owned or Black-operated small businesses in Canada. The grant is supported by Cassels and Wheaton Precious Metals, with up to 100,000 CAD in total awards for 2025. Applications are invited from businesses located in Toronto, Vancouver, or Calgary or with significant involvement in those communities, and the program provides access to the firm’s legal expertise in addition to the financial support.

Black-owned (owned/controlled and operated by Black individuals) small businesses with a maximum of 50 employees, located in Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto, or with significant involvement in those communities, and legally formed for-profit entities in Canada.
