Information

The Digital GreenTalents Award seeks high-potential young scientists working at the intersection of digitalization and sustainable development. The award includes a fully funded up to three-month research stay in Germany in 2026, mentoring, and access to the Digital GreenTalents network.

Benefits

Fully funded three-month research stay in Germany; mentoring; invitation to a one-week SpringSchool during the stay; access to the Digital GreenTalents alumni network; international travel to and from the research stay and travel to the SpringSchool within Germany funded by the program; formal virtual award ceremony.

Eligibility

Current enrollment in a doctoral program or within 3 months after graduation, or current enrollment in the last year of a master’s program; age up to 30; proficient in English; strong grades; commitment to participate in all parts of the program.

Application

Applicants submit details through the online application form, including personal background, research topic, host institution ideas, and a short motivation response; required documents include enrollment proof or PhD proof, transcripts, English proficiency, and a resume.
