Postdoctoral Fellowship in Physics at ITA in Brazil 2026

The Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA) in Brazil offers a postdoctoral fellowship in nuclear physics within a research project on emergent dynamics in exotic nuclear systems and their applications in particle and theoretical physics. The selected researcher will study nucleon structure, including structure functions, GTMDs, and form factors using continuum dynamical methods, and join a theoretical physics research team to develop numerical models of fundamental particles.

PhD in nuclear physics, hadron physics, particle physics, or quantum field theory; experience with numerical methods and symbolic algebra/computational software; preferably experience with non-perturbative methods in quantum field theory; ability to conduct independent research and collaborate within a team.
