Open to graduate students whose thesis or dissertation focuses on Canada or Canada-U.S. relations or comparative policies in North America. The fellowship provides a grant to support research up to $5,000 and requires presentation of the research at an ACSUS meeting. The topic areas include trade, defense, border management, energy, environment, and related policy issues in the Canada-U.S. relationship.

Eligibility

Open to students in any discipline who are preparing a graduate thesis or doctoral dissertation related to Canada, Canada-U.S. relations or comparative policies in North America; must be enrolled full-time in a master's or doctoral program in the United States and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
