Fully Funded Literary Residency in Switzerland 2027 for Writers and Translators

The Jan Michalski Foundation for Writing and Literature offers a fully funded Literary Residency Program in Montricher, Switzerland for writers, translators, and other creators focusing on literature and writing. Residencies last from two weeks to three months, with a duration chosen to fit the project; the foundation hosts multiple residents each year. Benefits include travel to Switzerland, a weekly stipend, private accommodation, meals, library access, and opportunities to participate in cultural activities and events.

Round-trip travel to Switzerland, CHF 400 weekly stipend, private accommodation, meals (breakfast and lunch), access to library, participation in cultural activities, time and space to develop or complete a literary project.

Applicants must be actively involved in a writing or literary project, with writing at the core of the proposed project, and may apply individually or as a two-person collaboration.
