Paid Opportunity for Storytellers to Participate in the 2027 Norwegian Storytelling Festival

The Norwegian Storytelling Festival (Fortellerfestivalen) is inviting proposals for its 2027 edition in Oslo, Norway, from March 11 to 14, 2027, with the theme 'Playing the Part.' The festival seeks performances, lectures, workshops, and other projects that use storytelling to explore lies, illusion, and the roles people create. Selected artists will present their work to an international audience and engage in cultural exchange within Europe.

Opportunity to present work at an international festival focused on oral storytelling; international exposure; networking with artists and professionals in storytelling, theatre, and performance; professional experience and potential collaboration opportunities in Norway and Europe.

Applications are welcome from professional storytellers, independent artists, artistic groups and ensembles, theatre and performance artists, workshop facilitators, lecturers and storytelling specialists, and cultural heritage educators, including participants from outside Norway.
