Arab Film Support and Funding Programme at the Cairo International Film Festival 2026

The Cairo Film Connection (CFC) is a professional co-production platform that supports Arab feature-film projects in the development and post-production stages, helping Arab directors and producers develop their projects, access financing, co-production, and distribution opportunities. It is part of the Cairo International Film Festival and will take place during the festival edition in November 2026. Selected participants gain accreditation to the festival, travel and accommodation for four days, networking opportunities, and mentorship, with the possibility to compete for cash grants and in-kind awards offered by the programme and partners.

Full accreditation to attend the Cairo International Film Festival; travel and accommodation for four days; access to Cairo Industry Days and networking events; one-on-one meetings with producers, funders, and distributors; project promotion through the Cairo Film Connection catalogue and media; mentorship and guidance sessions.

The project and applicants must be Arab national or of Arab origin, with a feature-length fiction or documentary project in development or post-production, and a producer or production company attached to the project.
