Beirut Short Film Festival 2026 with Prizes of Up to USD 5,000

Beirut Shorts International Film Festival invites submissions for short films as part of its 2026 edition in Beirut, Lebanon. The festival, which is Oscar-qualifying, supports young and emerging filmmakers and offers cash prizes across multiple competition categories, along with opportunities for screening and networking with industry professionals.

Cash prizes (up to USD 5,000 in total), category-winning recognition, festival screening opportunities, professional and cultural networking with filmmakers, and potential travel support for selected international directors.

The work must be a short film produced after October 1, 2024, with a premiere in Lebanon, English subtitles included, and the applicant must be the rights holder or an authorized representative submitting it.

Submit the film to one of the listed competition categories, ensure rights holder or authorized submitter, provide an English subtitles track, and deliver a high-quality screening copy if selected.
