Information

The Installation and Maintenance Technician is a paid technical position at CERN contributing to maintenance, replacement and installation of beam instrumentation systems across the accelerator complex. The role involves on-site interventions in underground and radiation areas, coordination with engineers and technicians, and use of CERN management tools. Training on CERN-specific systems is provided and the contract can be extended up to 36 months.

Eligibility

Applicants must be nationals of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State (with some nationalities currently ineligible). By the application deadline applicants must have a maximum of 2 years of professional experience since graduation, hold at most a general secondary education diploma or a shorter non-university degree (must not hold a bachelor's, master's or PhD), and must never have had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
