Belmont Forum

The Belmont Forum is an international partnership of funding organisations, international science councils and regional consortia aimed at expanding transdisciplinary research on understanding and adapting to global environmental change. The funding offering described by the FWF targets researchers working in the social sciences, biodiversity research and spatial planning. Projects may be funded for up to 36 months and follow the conditions of the FWF 'Einzelprojekte' programme. Decisions are made by the FWF Board based on a proposal from the call secretariat.

Maximum project duration 36 months; conditions correspond to the FWF 'Einzelprojekte' programme.

Researchers at universities, non-university research institutions and relevant industrial research departments working in the social sciences, biodiversity research and spatial planning are eligible.
