Information

The European Partnership BrainHealth Call 2 is a transnational research funding call supporting collaborative projects on neurodegeneration and factors that affect brain health across the lifespan. Projects must be collaborative, led by a coordinator and include 3–6 partners from at least three participating partner countries. Funded projects have a maximum duration of 36 months and participating researchers are funded by their respective national or regional funding organisations.

Project funding for research teams (maximum €450,000 for FWF PIs), funding provided by national/regional funders, collaborative transnational project support.

Eligibility

Researchers at universities, non-university research institutions and relevant industrial research departments active in brain health research; proposals must be submitted by consortia of 3–6 partners from at least three participating partner countries.

Application

Two-stage submission: concept proposal to the Joint Call Secretariat via the BrainHealth submission system and parallel administrative/financial submission to FWF (elane). Shortlisted teams submit full proposals to both the Call Secretariat and FWF.
