Girls@Polimi

Girls@Polimi is a scholarship initiative of the Politecnico di Milano aimed at encouraging girls to pursue studies in STEM fields by supporting their transition to university engineering programmes. For the 2026/2027 academic year the initiative offers 35 scholarships each worth €24,000 (€8,000 per year) reserved for students intending to enroll in bachelor degree courses with low female representation. Awardees are also offered training and mentoring opportunities, and one winner may receive a full scholarship for a full-time MBA at POLIMI Graduate School of Management.

Students attending the fourth and fifth year of secondary (high) school who intend to enroll in bachelor degree courses in engineering with low female presence (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, Automation Engineering).

Applicants apply via the programme's calls (bandi) and are selected according to the procedures and rankings of the Politecnico (references to separate bandi for early and standard entrance tests are provided).
