High School Summer Journalism Program

The High School Summer Journalism Program is a pre-college, residential program in journalism and broadcasting that teaches reporting, newswriting, interviewing, and media production through hands-on simulations. Participants learn from industry guest speakers, take field trips and tours, and experience newsroom and broadcast production exercises. The program is offered on university campuses and includes supervised campus housing and dining. An optional college credit opportunity is available through a partnership with American University.
