Information

The Barrande Fellowship Programme provides financial contributions for selected PhD students to conduct research projects in a partner country (France or the Czech Republic). It supports two types of fellowships: short-term research stays of 1–3 months and doctoral cotutelle arrangements (maximum 3 years) in which the scholarship holder receives a scholarship for 5 months each year. Scholarships are awarded annually by a bilateral committee of the Embassy of France in the Czech Republic and the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, guided by expert panels.

Eligibility

Selected PhD students involved in cooperation between Czech and French universities and research institutes may apply.
