PREMIO Nachwuchspreis Darstellende Künste

The PREMIO Nachwuchspreis Darstellende Künste is a national competition for professional theatre and dance companies and solo performing artists working in Switzerland. Selected projects participate in a kick-off event, collaborative residencies and receive production and residency support. The programme includes presentation (showing) opportunities, networking, and financial contributions toward coproduction and residency costs.

Kick-off event participation and networking; mandatory residencies; CHF 1,500 expense allowance per company; CHF 5,000 coproduction contribution; CHF 2,500 residency support; showing and presentation opportunities.

Professional theatre and dance companies as well as solo performing artists living and working in Switzerland whose submitted project is in the concept phase and has not yet been publicly performed; project leads must not have realized more than three evening-length works by the application deadline.
