Deutscher Fahrradpreis

The Deutscher Fahrradpreis is a national competition recognising outstanding projects in cycling in the categories Infrastructure, Service & Communication and Volunteering. The 2026 edition will see a specialist jury decide on nominations on 2026-03-10 and winners will be honoured at an awards ceremony on 2026-05-20 in Düsseldorf. The prize pool for 2026 is a total of €15,000, with each of the three category winners receiving €5,000. Entrants are projects and initiatives competing for nomination and awards within the stated categories.

Monetary prizes for winners (each category winner receives €5,000), national recognition and award presentation at the ceremony.

Submissions were made during a defined application phase; after the jury meeting participants are informed about nominations and winners.
