The Economics Summer School is a five-day in-person course in Bloomsbury, Central London that explores economic theory, real-world challenges and policy debates. It is aimed at students with prior experience of economics and uses case studies, simulations and discussion to develop understanding and decision-making under uncertainty. Small class sizes and experienced tutors provide individual feedback and opportunities for high-level discussion. The 2026 course examines topics including financial markets, global trade, development and financial crises.

Eligibility
Students aged 15–18 with prior experience of economics (for example the first year of an A Level Economics course, or a full GCSE); not suitable for complete beginners.
Application
Booking by securing a place with a 25% non-refundable deposit and paying the remaining balance eight weeks before the course. Bursary applicants complete an online bursary application form.
