Physik-Sommerschule

The Physik-Sommerschule is a five-day introductory summer school run by the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Würzburg. It offers lectures, lab tours, stargazing at the observatory, and activities designed to introduce participants to physics beyond school-level curricula. The programme aims to give school pupils and study-interested visitors an impression of studying physics and related fields at Würzburg and to enable initial contact with faculty and current students.

Lectures, lab tours, stargazing at the university observatory, coffee/tea and snacks, lunch in the mensa on one day, grill evenings, a small welcome gift and a nametag.

Open to school pupils and study-interested prospective students.

Participants are limited to 60 places.
