A fully funded three-year PhD studentship focused on social mobility and family narratives, embedded in the research project 'Social mobilitet i Danmark'. The PhD project combines qualitative family interviews with quantitative work and will form an independent, article-based doctoral project within a larger research collaboration. The position includes enrolment at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences and Humanities at Aalborg University and employment at VIVE - The Danish National Centre for Social Research.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a master's degree (or expect to have one by end of December 2026) in sociology, social work, anthropology, public health or similar fields; have good Danish (spoken and written) and good English skills.
