Information

The Energy and the Environment Summer School (EESS) is a two-week residential programme that explores science, technology and innovation for the transition to a low-carbon future. It delivers interactive lectures, hands-on laboratory sessions and field trips covering renewable energy, power generation, carbon capture, hydrogen fuels, nuclear power and energy storage. The programme includes practical learning in the University of Sheffield's Diamond building and integrated English for academic purposes to develop technical communication skills. EESS brings together international university students to work with peers and experts in the field.
