Information

The Young Researcher Award recognises and rewards young Indian scientists under 40 with an outstanding track record in biological sciences and demonstrated potential for high-quality research addressing human diseases. Recipients must hold a regular position in a university, organisation or institute in India and be engaged in research and development with publications arising from independent research in India. The award provides a monthly stipend and a contingency grant in addition to the recipient's regular salary from the host institute.

Eligibility

Indian scientists below the age of 40 who hold a regular position in a university, organization or institute in India, engaged in research and development with publications from independent research in India.
