Italy Runs Toward the Future scholarship program

The Italy Runs Toward the Future scholarship program provides scholarships for young student-athletes to enroll in Italian-language master's degree programs in Sport Science and Techniques or Sport Management at the University of Rome "Foro Italico". For the 2026–2027 academic year up to 20 scholarships of €9,000 each will be awarded. Scholarships have a duration of 9 months beginning on 2026-10-01, and recipients may apply for renewal for a second year subject to academic requirements. The programme is run by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with the University of Rome "Foro Italico".

Scholarship payment of €9,000 for the 9-month period; eligibility to apply for renewal for a second year if academic requirements are met.

Young student-athletes from the listed eligible countries may apply to enroll in the specified master's degree programs.

Applications open 2026-06-03 and close 2026-06-30 at 12:00 PM Rome time.
