The TECS Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) is a cohort-style summer research program run by the Department of Textile Engineering, Chemistry and Science at the Wilson College of Textiles, NC State. Participants undertake 10 weeks of hands-on laboratory research on textile engineering topics, receive professional-development workshops, and present their work in a university-wide end-of-summer poster symposium. The program provides supervised training in practical lab techniques, materials and electrical testing, and experience in science communication.
