Undergraduate Student Research Program

The Undergraduate Student Research Program is a special session for outstanding undergraduate economists to present research at the Western Economic Association International (WEAI) Annual Conference. Selected students are assigned to a four-paper session, receive a faculty discussant, and have up to 20 minutes to present with time for discussion. The program includes complimentary conference registration for selected students and cash awards for top papers.

Offered exclusively to students at WEAI Institutional Member universities; open to undergraduate students (authors who have graduated within the last six months may also submit). Submissions may be co-authored by other students but only one student may present.
