The Physics Summer Program for High School Students is a residential-style physics camp offering a series of lectures on quantum physics, laboratory demonstrations and research seminars led by Oakland University physics faculty. The program targets high school students preparing for college and presents foundational topics including atomic structure, wave-particle duality, blackbody radiation and quantum tunneling. Participants receive instruction, lab experience, exposure to faculty research and a program completion certificate.

Eligibility

Open to rising juniors, rising seniors and graduating seniors who received an A or B in AP Calculus or in an equivalent IB math class. Knowledge of AP Physics is a plus.
