Information

The Academy for Robotics is a week-long residential summer academy at The University of Texas at Austin that teaches mechanical design, programming, and control systems through hands-on robot building and simulation. It is guided by UT professors, program assistants, and industry representatives and includes laboratory work, campus activities, and a certificate of completion. Participants stay in campus residence halls with meals provided and are supported by mentors at a roughly 10:1 student-to-mentor ratio. The 2026 edition runs as a six-day immersive program on the UT Austin campus.
