Information

The Summer Physics Camp is a free day camp for young students to explore STEM through hands-on activities, tours, lectures and professional-development sessions. Participants learn alongside professionals from Sandia National Laboratories and Los Alamos National Laboratory and engage in projects in physics, engineering, bioengineering, chemistry, computer programming and cybersecurity. The 2026 edition’s theme is "Invisible Worlds: Physics Beyond What Our Eyes Can See." A limited number of free residential spots are available for selected students who live more than 60 miles away and cannot commute daily.

Eligibility

Young students (high-school age) may apply. A limited number of free residential spots are available to selected students living more than 60 miles from Santa Fe who cannot commute daily.
