CERN School of Computing – Latin America 2026

The CERN School of Computing – Latin America 2026 is a two-week intensive school offering lectures and hands-on exercises on physics computing, software engineering, and data technologies. The programme comprises more than 50 hours of lectures and practical sessions focused on computing for particle physics and related fields. It is organised in collaboration with the SAPHIR Millenium Institute and Universidad Católica de Chile and takes place at Campus Lo Contador, UC Chile, Santiago.

More than 50 hours of lectures and hands-on exercises covering physics computing, software engineering and data technologies; training and practical experience in computing for particle physics. Financial support may be available.

Postgraduate (minimum bachelor degree or equivalent) engineers and scientists working at CERN or at other research institutes, with experience in particle physics, computing or related fields; applicants of all nationalities are welcome.
