Engineering in Africa Conference

The Engineering in Africa Conference is a three-day continental convening of engineers, innovators, policymakers, industry leaders and institutions focused on designing and governing Africa's infrastructure, energy, digital and urban systems. The conference features structured engineering labs, cross-sector sessions and a cumulative problem-solving agenda aimed at producing outputs, commitments and next steps. Associated initiatives include a public STEM Festival, a three-day immersive engineering programme for secondary schools (Engineering Xperience) and a multi-week accelerator for university students and early-career professionals (Innovation Foundry).

Participation in structured engineering labs and cross-sector sessions, networking with policymakers, industry and funders, capacity-building programmes (STEM Festival, Engineering Xperience, Innovation Foundry) and access to platform resources and agenda sessions.

Engineers, technologists, policymakers, ministers and regulators, investors and development finance institutions, founders and innovators, university students, early-career professionals and senior decision-makers; secondary school students are eligible for the Engineering Xperience programme.
