Information

The AfricaCDC Biomanufacturing Fellowship Programme is a two-year fellowship designed for employees of biomanufacturing companies. It aims to provide advanced competencies in vaccine R&D and manufacturing, with a focus on leadership, mentorship, management, and entrepreneurship, alongside in-person and virtual trainings. Fellows remain employed by their companies and will travel for short courses/trainings during the programme.

DSA for travel, round-trip flights, travel and health insurance, laptop and internet allowance, visa fees, and a post-fellowship allowance.

Eligibility

Employees of active biomanufacturing companies who hold a Master’s degree in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, or Biochemical Engineering; citizens of African Union member states with active vaccine manufacturing companies; must have a valid passport and be able to obtain employer leave.

Applications are submitted for review to select five candidates; shortlisted applicants proceed to further steps.
