The SEAREG Postdoctoral Fellowship is a 12-month placement for early career scholars to conduct independent research at a partner university in Southeast Asia. The fellowship supports research, mentoring, institutional engagement and professional development, and includes presentation opportunities at SEAREG’s annual Southeast Asian workshop. One fellow will be hosted at one of four partner institutions across Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam during July 2027–June 2028.

Eligibility
Early career researchers and recent doctoral graduates specialising in Southeast Asian studies; applicants must secure a letter of support from a mentor at the intended host university and actively engage with the preferred host before applying.
Application
