Information

The Particle Physics Summer Internship is a departmental summer research programme for undergraduate physics students from UK universities. Students work with a supervisor on a self-contained research project, typically for eight weeks during the summer, and are encouraged to participate in department seminars and activities. Projects cover experimental and simulation work in particle physics and related instrumentation. Students are paid as employees of the University at the Oxford living wage (subject to deductions).

Eligibility

Undergraduate physics students from UK universities (priority to students in their second year and above). Applicants must not require a visa to work in the UK; EU students in the UK with Pre-Settled Status and current students in the UK on a Tier 4 visa that allows vacation employment may apply.
