Engineering and Robotics Academy

The Engineering and Robotics Academy is a two-week, full-day summer academy held on the UC Berkeley campus for high-school students. Participants build and program robotic systems, work with sensors and circuitry, explore mechanical and soft-robotics fabrication, and complete a team capstone proposing a robotic solution to a real-world problem. The program includes guided hands-on practice, industry speakers and campus activities, and awards a Summer Discovery certificate of completion.

Hands-on experience building and programming robots, completed robotic systems and code, a capstone project proposal, industry speaker sessions, campus experience, and a Summer Discovery certificate of completion.

High school students who have completed 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade and who are interested in robotics, engineering, coding, design, automation, or applied problem-solving.
