Information

The SUPREME Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) is a 10-week summer research program hosted at Cornell University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focused on semiconductor and microelectronics research in cleanroom facilities. The program places ten undergraduate students (five at each site) in individual research projects aligned with SUPREME and JUMP 2.0 research thrusts. Participants receive mentorship, professional development workshops, networking with industry liaisons, and take part in trainings, convocations and final reporting.

Benefits

Weekly 10-week stipend of $7,000, housing, reasonable travel expenses, coverage of research expenses, mentorship, professional development workshops, trainings, and networking opportunities.

Eligibility

Open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents who are undergraduates at U.S. universities; graduated seniors are not eligible.
