Royal Astronomical Society Awards 2027

The Royal Astronomical Society Awards recognise significant achievement in the fields of astronomy and geophysics across research, education and outreach. The programme includes medals and prizes such as the Gold Medal, awarded for distinguished contributions. Some awards are aimed at early-career scientists while others recognise long service and lifetime achievement. Winners of the 2027 medals and prizes will be announced in January 2027.
