The International Institute on Peace Education (IIPE) Mexico 2022 is a week-long residential learning community bringing together 60 educators, researchers, artists, activists and students to exchange theory and practice in peace education. The institute explores the theme “Weaving Together Intercultural Peacelearning” and emphasizes interactive learning with local and indigenous communities. Sessions include exchanges of peacebuilding research, pedagogical experimentation, and community-building practices. The program is hosted at Casa Xitla in Mexico City from July 24–31, 2022.

Eligibility
Formal and non-formal educators, students, practitioners, academics, researchers, activists and community leaders with interest in peace education, human rights education, intercultural/global citizenship education, education for sustainable development, conflict transformation, the arts, health and faith-based professions, and related fields may apply. Applicants of all levels of experience are eligible.
