The British Academy Writing & Mentoring Workshop for Early Career Researchers in West Africa 2025 is a two-day, in-person training event aimed at developing research and publication skills for early career researchers in West Africa. The program offers personalized mentorship and feedback on manuscripts, networking opportunities with senior scholars and journal editors, and follow-up support to submissions to international journals over two years. The organisers provide hotel accommodation and meals for the workshop.

Applicants must have completed their PhD within the last 8-10 years or be close to PhD completion. Female Early Career Researchers are highly encouraged to apply.
