Sixth Manuel de Solà-Morales European Prize 2027

The Manuel de Solà-Morales European Prize recognises the best university research in the field of urbanism carried out by a student awarded a PhD. The prize honours the memory of Manuel de Solà-Morales and seeks to identify and recognise outstanding European doctoral theses in urbanism. Eligible theses must have been presented at a European university and written in a European language within the stated eligibility period. The Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB) at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and the Barcelona Urbanism Laboratory (LUB) organise the award.

Candidates may submit any doctoral thesis in which urbanism is the object of the candidate’s research; the thesis must have been written in a European language and presented at a European university between 1 January 2022 and 30 September 2026.
