BBA Artist Prize 2027

The BBA Artist Prize is an annual international open-call art competition run by BBA Gallery in Berlin for artists working in any medium. Entrants submit up to five artworks to be judged by an international jury; longlisted and shortlisted artists receive promotion and shortlisted artists exhibit at BBA Gallery in Berlin. Cash prizes, Artsy profiles, online promotion and a solo exhibition for the top winner are awarded. Works exhibited during the shortlist exhibition may be offered for sale with proceeds split between artist and gallery.

Cash prizes (1st €1,000; 2nd €700; 3rd €500; Audience €300), Artsy profile, online promotion, shortlisted artists exhibit at BBA Gallery in Berlin, 1st prize solo exhibition, longlist/shortlist promotion, certificate for longlisted artists.

Open internationally to living artists aged 18 or older; no restrictions on theme, training or nationality. Applicants represented by another gallery may apply if submitted works are available for sale and not exclusively consigned elsewhere; relatives of jury members, gallery employees, or artists exclusively represented by BBA are ineligible.

Online application via the BBA Prizes application portal; submit up to five artworks per entry and pay the entry fee.
