IFMSA Student Exchange Program

The IFMSA Student Exchange Program arranges bilateral four-week clinical and research clerkships for medical students to experience health care delivery and health systems in different cultural and social settings. Exchanges provide a placement in a department or research project of choice, a tutor, lodging and often a social programme, and an official certificate upon meeting requirements. The programme is endorsed by multiple international medical organisations and aims to allow students to obtain academic credit from their home universities.

Open to medical students who are members of IFMSA National Member Organizations; applicants must apply through their National Member Organization and contact their local or national exchange officers.
