Nominations are open for the Dr. M. Ian Bowmer Award for Leadership in Social Accountability. It is awarded annually to one medical student and one resident in Canada. Each recipient will be awarded $5,000 to be used for studies, books, or e-learning tools, and/or conference attendance.

Benefits

Cash prize of $5,000 for each recipient; funds may be used for studies, books, e-learning tools, and/or conference attendance.

Eligibility

Nominees should be medical students and residents; schools submit one medical student and one resident each year.

Application

Nominations must be submitted via formal letters of nomination electronically to awards@mcc.ca by the deadline.
