Nominations are open for the Al-Sumait Prize in Food Security 2025. The prize honors individuals or institutions whose work or research advances food security, health, and education in Africa. The prize is awarded annually and carries a value of $1,000,000, administered by KFAS with sponsorship from the Kuwait Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Eligibility

Nominated candidates’ research and development work or projects must be innovative and have high impact in Africa; nominations may come from competent regional and international institutions, UN organizations, former winners, or evaluation members.
