Refugee Youth to Innovate for a Sustainable Future

The Refugee Youth to Innovate for a Sustainable Future programme invites up to 150 refugee youth to participate in the UNLEASH Innovation Lab in Rwanda, focusing on human-centered design and SDG-related challenges. Participants will join a global cohort to develop ideas addressing climate change, sexual and reproductive health, and youth employment, among other themes, as part of a collaborative innovation process. The initiative aims to empower refugee, asylum-seeking, internally displaced, and stateless youth with skills and a supportive community of thousands of young people worldwide.

Participation in the Innovation Lab, access to a global community of youth, development of design-thinking skills, networking opportunities, and potential post-event support from UNHCR.

Open to refugee youth, asylum-seekers, internally displaced and stateless people residing in Rwanda.
