From Rhode Island to Berlin – Lila’s internship with Gülistan Yüksel

The internship described is a short-term placement in Berlin accompanying Gülistan Yüksel, providing an American student with exposure to German politics, parliamentary sessions, and related meetings. The participant engages with plenary sessions, committees, and staff, conducting research such as on the topic of femicide and gaining firsthand experience of the Bundestag’s operations.
