The AMS Graduate Student Chapter Program is a member-benefit programme that supports the professional development of graduate students in the mathematical sciences by encouraging engagement with the American Mathematical Society. Chapters organise events, connect with other chapters and gain access to AMS resources and networks. Chapters receive program benefits including funding for events, virtual seminars with AMS experts, and participation in AMS activities such as a chapter breakfast at the Joint Mathematics Meetings.

Benefits

Up to $750 per academic year for chapter events; ability to organise a one-hour virtual seminar with AMS experts; nominee membership benefits and discounts; networking with other chapters; access to private Chapter social pages; attendance at the AMS Graduate Student Chapter Breakfast at the Joint Mathematics Meetings.

Eligibility

Graduate students in the mathematical sciences may form or convert an existing graduate math club into an AMS Graduate Student Chapter; involvement with undergraduates and the community is encouraged.
