Information

The IUPAC-Solvay International Award for Young Chemists recognizes the best Ph.D. theses in the chemical sciences and provides a cash prize plus travel support to the IUPAC Congress. Five winners are selected from Ph.D. graduates and present a poster at the Congress, with their work published subsequently.

Eligibility

Eligible candidates must have received a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in 2025 from an institution in a country with an IUPAC National Adhering Organization.

Application

Submit entries via an online entry form with a 6000-character essay and letters of support; letters must be provided by the writers on institutional letterhead and submitted by the writers themselves.
