KAAD Jahresakademie

The KAAD Jahresakademie is an annual residential academy that brings together guests from academia and church with KAAD scholarship holders to discuss themes important to the institution and its global network. The programme includes thematic panel discussions, specialist group meetings, lectures and opportunities for exchange among participants from around fifty countries. It is held at Haus Venusberg, Bildungsstätte des Erzbistums Köln in Bonn and includes shared meals and worship events. The event addresses topics such as identity, belonging, global crises and related social and political challenges.

Participation in thematic panels, specialist group meetings and lectures; networking with academics, church representatives and KAAD scholars; meals (including buffet) and shared worship events.

Participants are KAAD scholarship holders and invited guests from academia, church and related fields.
